The Blinds
brand system.
A working manual for the Blinds visual and verbal identity. Everything here is specific, tested, and ready to ship from. Treat specifications as law. Treat principles as philosophy.
Blinds is a credential proxy for autonomous agents. The product exists because the software industry ships secrets into places they should never live — environment variables, context windows, tool payloads — and acts surprised when they leak.
The brand carries that decision with conviction. Monochrome. Monospace. Precise. The aesthetic is restrained; the craft is not. Every surface should feel like it was designed by someone who cares about typefaces and credential rotation equally.
12-column grid, 8px base unit. Body copy measures 18–22em. Display type runs full-bleed. The site, the docs, and the dashboard share the same grid.
not a stamp.
Arrive, don't announce
Elements ease in at 800ms with cubic-bezier(0.16, 1, 0.3, 1). No bounce.
Stagger, don't swarm
Sibling elements enter 80ms apart. Never simultaneously.
Characters, not blocks
Hero text reveals per-character with 28ms delay, rotateX, and blur-to-sharp.
Blinds talks the way good engineering talks. Short sentences. Specific nouns. Active voice. No “solution”, “leverage”, “AI-powered”, or “unlock”.
“Your agents never see your keys.”
“Enterprise-grade credential management platform.”
“Blinds is open source. Fork it.”
“Talk to sales about our licensing tiers.”
“Revoke the parent. The subtree goes cold.”
“Centralized access governance across the hierarchy.”
“Install in thirty seconds.”
“Intuitive onboarding with our setup wizard.”
Everything you need to ship a Blinds surface. The logo pack contains the full wordmark, the slats mark, and clear-space templates. Color tokens ship as CSS variables and JSON.
